Are you interested in becoming a member of the USCG Auxiliary? Division 3 is one of 12 Divisions with 1,291 members making up the Eighth Western Rivers Coast Guard Auxiliary. This Division serves St. Louis Metro, Southwest Illinois and Southeast Missouri areas. In turn, the Eighth Western Rivers is one of 15 Districts making up the total compliment of Auxiliarists across the United States, including Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. We are dedicated to the saving of lives and property and teaching ways to be safe on the water. Since Congress' act making us a part of Homeland Security, we are more active than ever. We provide the extra ears, eyes and bodies the United States Coast Guard needs in these times of terrorist threats. (Data as of January 2008.)
