Greetings to All:

As summer activity draws near, the desire for boating naturally follows. Our auxiliarists are as busy as ever preparing for hopefully a safe season. We have our people in critical areas, such as rivers, lakes, streams and even in the sky to watch over the boating public.

We have instructors in the classrooms teaching seamanship, safe boating and advanced classes such as in navigation and search and rescue. Our members train and train and then train some more to make our waterways a safe place, where you can feel safe.

As if that isn't enough, we are doing our part in watching our waterways with eagle eyes to disrupt any unusual activity within the inland waters. My hat goes off to all of the Auxiliary and a special thanks to my team that makes up Division 3, 8 Western Rivers

Frank J. Amato
